
This is usually a combination of pseudo gynecomastia (fatty tissue
and true gynecomastia breast tissue with prevalence of one or
the other component depending in part of the patient's
weight, endocrine factors, medication that the patient has used,
or other substances as embolic steroids and marijuana). Appropriate
specimens are sent for pathology.
As with all cosmetic surgery, results are most gratifying when
expectations are realistic.
