Rarely does gynecomastia appear as ill-defined lumps or unusual shapes. Before excision, hormonal, x-ray and MRI testing is strongly recommended. Specimens are sent to pathology.
As with all cosmetic surgery, results are most gratifying when expectations are realistic.
