A common forms of gynecomastia, "Puffy Nipple Areola Complex" can consist of glandular and/or adipose tissue accumulation located either directly under the areola complex or slightly extended outside the areola, giving it a dome shaped appearance. This form of gynecomastia is seen in all age groups but is more commonly found in young adults.
As with all cosmetic surgery, results are most gratifying when expectations are realistic.
