Breast reduction for men (Gynecomastia) - Patient 41
A 19 year old male, who is 5'7 and 166 pounds, from Passaic County in northern NJ. The patient was enduring Gynecomastia, a condition in which there is a formation of excess glandular tissue beneath the male breast causing it to become enlarged. The patient became increasingly uncomfortable with the appearance of his chest and felt embarrassed to remove his shirt in public places, such as his local gym. He traveled to Dr. Blau, board certified plastic surgeon and a diplomate of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, after learning that he is respected throughout the world as a leading authority in Gynecomastia surgery and that he has developed his own surgical method for the correction of the condition called the “Natural Blend Technique.” The patient received male breast reduction surgery, excising the glandular tissue, followed by a small amount of liposuction. The incision is only an inch in diameter and inconspicuous, not noticeable, even without a shirt. The patient is very happy with the results and is experiencing a new self-confidence.
